All over the world tomatoes are among the most appreciated vegetables. There are many characteristics that an ideal tomato variety should have, and these vary for each country or region. Next to yield, size and shape, earliness is a feature that is often much appreciated. Not to forget taste of course. Good transportability and long shelf life should not affect that taste. Further, a broad resistance package is needed to protect the plants effectively.
